Usage
editThis template is used in the usage notes of uncommon kanji that are replaced by another homophonic kanji (known as 代用字 (daiyōji)) found in the jōyō kanji or tōyō kanji list.
Parameters

- Replacement kanji used due to the script reform.
Examples
edit- Entry at 抛 (hō):

- In modern Japanese, 抛 is mostly replaced by 放, due to the deprecation of non-tōyō kanji caused by the Japanese script reform.
