Template:rfdef

Usage
This is used as the content of a definition line, after, if relevant, any {{context}} or similar tag, where the definition of the word is not known, to request it.
The lang parameter should be added if the word is not English, to list the word as needing attention from those versed in that language. Thus, for Latin: {{rfdef|lang=la}}. A list of language codes (like la) can be found at Wiktionary:Index to templates/languages.
The topic parameter may be added if the subject matter of the sense is known, to list the word as needing attention from those versed in that topic. Thus: {{rfdef|topic=chemistry}} or {{rfdef|lang=la|topic=chemistry}}.
An unnamed parameter can be added for comments. Thus: {{rfdef|This seems to be some kind of protein. Anyone know?}} or {{rfdef|topic=chemistry|seems to be some kind of protein|lang=la}}. These comments will not appear anywhere, but will be seen by future editors.
