Template talk:fi-consonant
Abstracts out style for gradating consonants in inflection tables. Pass in to the consonant fields of Template:fi-decl-valo and similar, instead of just the raw consonant, and then the gradation text style for each type of table can be altered centrally here.
Parameters edit
- consonant to insert into text
- grade (strong, weak, mutated, or blank for non-gradating)
- where the entry is occurring:
- grad_full = Full inflection table, in a specific gradation illustrating section
- grad_summary = Gradation summary table, as generated with Template:fi-gradation
- appendix = Main appendix table, not specifically to illustrate gradation (would normally only occur for inflection types that always have gradation)
- word = Table on word's own page
Current style edit
Current style is for grad_full, grad_summary to highlight gradation, with strong consonants in bold, weak in italic, and mutated underlined. In other places, it is not highlighted.
