@Justinrleung, Suzukaze-c I wonder if this template can be used for verbs, e.g. 痛扁一. --Dine2016 (talk) 05:08, 29 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

It seems sensible. I wonder if usage of the template would be intuitive to readers. —Suzukaze-c 18:11, 6 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Dine2016: Hmm, I'm not actually sure if these "classifiers" are inherent to the verb. Would it be ungrammatical to switch 頓 for another 動量詞? — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 09:18, 7 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

How to use with multiple definitions lines

edit

For example: has eleven definition lines, and {{zh-mw|個}} is only attached to the sixth. Judging from history, this might be an artifact from when "division; branch" was the only definition under a no-longer-extant noun PoS header (see https://en.wiktionary.org/w/index.php?title=%E7%A7%91&oldid=33042627), but it might be correct. Does only this sense use this qualifier? Do other senses use different qualifiers or none at all?

If all definitions use the qualifier, where should this template be put? Repeated on each line or placed above the start of the list? 71.168.173.2 20:31, 9 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Repeated. —Suzukaze-c 08:26, 24 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Vietnamese

edit

This template is a good idea. Maybe we should adopt it for Vietnamese as well. A lemma such as táo has multiple classifiers depending on the sense, and some senses have multiple classifiers depending on the dialect. Minh Nguyễn 💬 06:58, 15 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
