''*grysti'' or ''*gryzti'' ?

How come that we have *grysti instead of *gryzti ?
If this is assmilated then shoud all words suffixed with *orz-, *jьz-, *vъz- be assimilated as well ?
As a mather of fact should all words lacking ь or ъ be completely assimilated ? 78.1.247.2 03:04, 7 February 2015 (UTC)
