- limma: long or short? From a Greek diphthong, but before a geminate.

- acacia: middle a is given as long in Latin, but short in Greek. L&S gives ăcācĭa, but Gaffiot gives ăcăcĭa.
- marum: is the Greek source word long or short a? Acute or cirumflex on the first syllable?
