Chinese

Hi. Please don’t use Template:Chinese template, since we do not have such a template. Also, be sure to include the Pinyin pronunciation and, if possible, also the Simplified. We always put Traditional first, Simplified second, then the Pinyin, like this: *Chinese: 動作, 动作 (dòngzuò). Thanks. —Stephen 09:41, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

Also, I think that it is usually best not to link the particle 的, like this:

• Chinese: 有利的 (yǒulì de); 佔有優勢的, 占有优势的 (zhànyǒu yōushì de)

I would like to thank you as well for your work on the translations section. We have not yet formally documented the preferred format for Chinese additions to the translations section of English words. However, I recommend using the format in the entries such as time and stem cell. Here are some useful links:

Proposal for PMT Group Membership

Hi, We are in need of serious and consistent contributors for newly proposed Project Multilingual Translations(PMT), in all languages. The project is just in the phase of being designed and policies are being decided. In short, it would be an effort for getting both important things done, viz., providing almost all language-translations to the words and collecting the efforts of all contributors under a systematic policy to give collected sizable output.
