Apples, Vaud is wrong - it should be Apples. Format is also wrong. It MUST start with ==language== and have ===Proper Noun===. Here is our standard welcome - please read how to format Wiktionary words. SemperBlotto 23:11, 8 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wiktionary. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wiktionarian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk (discussion) and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~, which automatically produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the beer parlour or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome!

Communes of Vaud edit

Jezerfetnaeget, I have deleted Communes of Vaud and Municipalities of Vaud canton because they are not terms that need to be defined. If these are lists of place names somewhere, it might make sense to place them in an appendix or index, but these things do not go in the main namespace. Please leave me a note on my talk page if you would like my assistance figuring out where to put this information so that it fits in our data structure. --Dvortygirl 07:24, 9 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Vaud/Apples edit

I sent you a message about this earlier, I think when you were still an anonymous user? Apples and/or Vaud is where you can list a proper noun that is a place in Switzerland. Appendix:Place names in Switzerland is a better place to list it though. We don't use Wikipedia stype disambiguation here at all. --Connel MacKenzie T C 02:11, 10 December 2005 (UTC)Reply
