Translingual always comes first in an entry, because it's not really a language, but something that can be used by multiple languages. English is always the first of the actual languages, because this is English Wiktionary, and that's the language most of our users are interested in. After that, all the other languages are indeed in alphabetical order by language name (see our Entry layout page). Thanks! Chuck Entz (talk) 02:25, 1 June 2016 (UTC)
