Most certainly. Putting entries into the most appropriate categories has always been an objective. I can't foresee exactly whether other contributors will choose to do that immediately, though. For dwarf planet and nova remnant it could be Category:en:Astronomy. For god and goddess it could be Category:en:Religion and Category:en:Mythology. --Daniel 15:21, 14 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Open en:Rivers to terms related to rivers edit

Oppose edit

  1.   Oppose Mglovesfun (talk) 16:24, 7 October 2011 (UTC), which I believe is the same as the previous option Open en:Rivers to terms related to rivers as Category:Rivers says "The following is a list of terms related to rivers." Per personal preference, simply enough. Mglovesfun (talk) 16:24, 7 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
NB feel free to discount this as the vote officially ended 6 days ago. Mglovesfun (talk) 16:44, 7 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
"Open en:Rivers to terms related to rivers" and "Oppose" absolutely were not synonyms when this vote was active. (and never will be)
"Oppose" is basically "Don't fix the problem!" or "I see no problem. If it ain't broken, don't fix it!"
Or, more optimistally, it is "I want to fix the problem, but neither solution is a good solution. I want more discussions and ideas."
Long story short, "Oppose" is a strong "Abstain". If this option won, then nothing would happen: the categories would still neither be open nor restricted; they would just be a mess without clear boundaries. Even Category:en:Rivers was messy enough. It's description is what you said, but last time I checked before the end of the vote, its contents were restricted to names of rivers only. --Daniel 18:02, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
