I hereby nominate User:Alhen as a local English Wiktionary Administrator. His es.wikt: / en.wikt: project coordination efforts have been invaluable. On several occasions, I've asked him to edit protected pages, or delete cruft laying about, only to discover that he somehow was never nominated as a sysop here. Additionally, for his i18n/L10n activities regarding Lupin popups (see WT:PREFS,) he needs to be able to edit some protected pages. --Connel MacKenzie18:14, 25 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
SupportDvortygirl04:17, 26 September 2006 (UTC) - I'd be delighted to have Alhen aboard. He's already a sysop on es: Wikipedia and the Wikcionario, and I'm quite certain he'll do good things here, too. (On a personal note, he's also to blame for my advancement to es-2 this year.)[reply]
Just a comment, here. First, we're voting on the person, not es.wikt. In defense of the project, yes, es: is a smaller Wiktionary, but they're growing pretty rapidly considering what a small community they have. As for the lack of basic words, there are a lot of them and they're some of the hardest to define (look at all the senses of up or hand). Many of ours are not exactly in great shape, either, and I imagine we were missing a lot of words in our 10,000 days, too. --Dvortygirl23:54, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
