Usage notes edit

A special cake made for a girl’s puberty ceremony (kinaaldá yikʼąąs). It is made by combining cornmeal, sprouted wheat grain, brown sugar, raisins, and hot water into a batter, wrapped up in cornhusks, and baked in an oven.
