alporquia
Portuguese edit
Etymology edit
From Latin porca (“balk”), from Proto-Indo-European *pr̥ḱeh₂, from Proto-Indo-European *perḱ- (“to dig”).
Even though the word starts with "al", it is not a prefix, but rather an adaptation of Portuguese alporque (“swelling, scrofula”).
