Learned borrowing from Latin amphiprostȳlos, from Ancient Greek ἀμφιπρόστυλος (amphipróstulos, having pillars on either front), from ἀμφί (amphí, both) + πρόστυλος (próstulos, with pillars in front), from πρό (pró, before, forth) + στῦλος (stûlos, pillar).
