  Two indicators of fruit acidity were measured: pH by a pH meter (Accumet AB15, Fisher Scientific, PA, USA) and titratable acidity (TA, malic acid equivalent) by an autotitrator (Metrohm 848 Titrino Plus with 869 compact sample changer, Metrohm, Herisau, Switzerland).
