Etymology edit
From Ottoman Turkish بولنتی (bölüntü, “anything divided off”)[1] (alternatively; بولندی (bölündü)), from Ottoman Turkish بولنمك (bölünmek, “to be divided or partitioned”), from Ottoman Turkish بولمك (bölmek, “to divide into portions, to separate”), from Proto-Turkic *bȫl-,[2][3] morphologically böl- + -ün- + -tü.
