Usage notes edit
- Used with the preposition ri when meaning speaking to:
- Cha do bhruidhinn mi ris. ― I did not speak to him.
- Used with the preposition air when meaning speaking about:
- Bruidhnidh iad air an àite. ― They will speak about the place.
