curuba
English edit
Noun edit
curuba (plural curubas)
- Synonym of cassabanana
Spanish edit
Etymology edit
From curubo (“passionflower vines”), of unclear origin, but as the plant is native to the Andes region (Peru, Bolivia, etc), a borrowing from an Amerindian language is likely.[1]
