   • 2012, Maighread A. Challan, Air Bilean an t-Sluaigh, Belfast: Cló Ollscoil na Banríona, page 49:

     Ann an eileanan eile bha na fiathachaidhean gan toirt seachad le fear agus bean na bainnse iad fhèin.

     In other islands the invitations were given out by the groom and bride themselves.
