fructanohydrolase (plural fructanohydrolases)

    • 1987, David W. Newman, Kenneth G. Wilson, Models in Plant Physiology and Biochemistry, volume 1, page 87:
The fructans of the inulin series are hydrolyzed by fructanohydrolases which attack the P-(2, 1 )-fructofuranoside linkages at the nonreducing chain ends with the release of fructose.
    • 1996, International Dairy Federation, Bulletin, volumes 309-328, page 26:
These enzymes are designated as -2,1-β-D-fructan-fructanohydrolases (EC 3.2.1.7).
    • 2008, Arun Dev Sharma, “Chapter 4: Advances in Microbial Inulases: Its Production and Properties”, in Jerrod M. Cantor, editor, Progress in Food Engineering Research and Development, page 183:
Two types of exoinulinases (2, 1-β-D-fructan fructanohydrolase EC 3.2.1.7) were later identified and purified from C. pannorum AHU 9700 (Xiao et al., 1989).
