- (obsolete, Roman Catholicism) The incorporation of certain property, rights, or income into the dominion of the Pope.[1]
- 1762, Paul M. Rapin de Thoyras, Nicolas Tindal, The History of England, Volume 12, page 382:
- The Treaty of Pisa, signed the 17th of February 1664, ended the quarrels between the court of France and the pope. . . . ‘The pope shall revoke the incameration of the duchies of Castro and Ronciglione. The duke of Parma shall take possession of them, paying to the apostolical chamber the sum he owes it, of a million three hundred twenty-nine thousand seven hundred and fifty crowns.’

- According to Ephraim Chambers' Cyclopædia, or a Universal Dictionary of Arts and Sciences (1728) this was a "term used in the Apostolical Chancery."
