  1. (geology) An isobase of equal upheaval.

      The northern part is the most important uplift zone in Romania, while the southern part has a similar velocity to the other mountains in Romania. The Dorna Depression, which in the previous map was only outlined, is contoured by isoanabases with values reduced (+ 3.0 mm/y) in the new one.
