jackhole (plural jackholes)
- (mining, archaic) A hole that is created using a jack or wedge.
- 1907, Rock Boring, Rock Drilling, Explosives and Blasting, Coal-Cutting Machinery, Timbering, Timber trees, Trackwork, page 48:
