  1. The quality of being among a group. It is only used adverbially in singular of inessive (keskuudessa), elative (keskuudesta) and illative (keskuuteen) cases and often with a possessive suffix. It is normally translated into English with a prepositional structure involving among or amongst.
    Keskuudessamme on petturi.
    There's a traitor amongst us.
