1. To fabricate incorrectly.
   • 1937, Rayon Or'ganon - Volume 8, page 109:

     But "the rub" comes when unscrupulous fabricators or finishers skimp, misfabricate, or poorly process these yarns and cloths.

   • 1966, American Group Staff, Timber Construction Manual, page 6:

     Members which have been misfabricated may be subsequently refabricated if they are determined to be structurally adequate.

   • 1988, Chairman Dotson and Members Dennis and Johansen, “Supplemental Decision and Order”, in Decisions and Orders of the National Labor Relations Board, page 1096:

     Shortly thereafter, Carter misfabricated 400 sink brackets. During his testimony, he claimed the brackets were misfabricated because, inter alia, he had used a faulty diagram prepared by an employee who had fabricated such brackets on a prior occasion.
