A morphonological variant of ngalem.[1]

ngel (aorist ngela, participle ngelur)

  1. to be stuck, hooked
  2. to remain (all senses)
  3. to flunk, fail (with before the failed class, test, or exam)
    Ngela në provimin.
    I failed the exam.
