presetter
English edit
Etymology edit
Noun edit
presetter (plural presetters)
- One who or that which presets.
- 2009, Mike Mattson, CNC Programming: Principles and Applications, page 140:
- Tool presetters tend to be more accurate than manually touching off the tool to the workpiece. Manual touch-offs tend to have some variation due to the limitations of gauging when the actual contact between the tool and workpiece occurs.
