Verb edit

read through (third-person singular simple present reads through, present participle reading through, simple past and past participle read through)

  1. To thoroughly read something to check or proofread it.
    Coordinate terms: look over, read over
  2. To read a script out loud casually with other actors but without blocking
  3. (intransitive, rail transport) To read and obey a signal that is beyond the applicable one (often mistakenly)
