reducetarian (plural reducetarians)

  1. A person who for ethical reasons attempts to reduce the amount of meat in their diet.
    • 2017, David Nibert, Animal Oppression and Capitalism, page 306:
Reformists and reducetarians claim that “abolitionists” are asking for too much and certainly asking for it too soon, that “baby steps” are necessary incremental steps, and the alleged abolitionist “all-or-nothing” approach is unworkable and off-putting to the very people the movement is trying to influence.
