sandboxer (plural sandboxers)

  1. One who plays in a sandbox.
    • 1956, Lois Barclay Murphy, Personality in Young Children: Colin, a normal child, page 135:
      He had been "probably the most avid sandboxer . . . and mudder too." He smacked his lips over food and dramatic play often contained many references to food; he chewed gum ardently.
  2. (computing) A process that sandboxes others.
