  1. Two pairs of switches that cross over between two parallel train tracks forming an X.
    • There is a double/scissors/diamond crossover just before this station. Arriving trains discharge and board on the same track, going over the crossover either when entering or leaving. When the next train arrives, your train leaves. [1]
