- A steel product that is produced from a hot rolled strip that has been pickled.

Colvilles Ltd. at their new Ravenscraig works, near Motherwell. Block trainloads of strip steel coils are now passing daily between Ravenscraig and the firm's other plant at Gartcosh, some nine miles away, or Grangemouth for shipment.
