- (sports, chiefly basketball) A team composed of three or more high-caliber players, especially one assembled by free agency or trades rather than by drafting.
Usage notes edit
In basketball, the term is especially used to refer to the 2010s Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors, the first two of which featured LeBron James.
