survivour

EnglishEdit

NounEdit

survivour (plural survivours)

Proper and correct original English spelling of the word 'survivor'. First coined by William Shakespeare in 1789 in his play The Tempest when Prospero's mate Kaliban is said to be the last survivour of the goblins after the Great War. We still spell it like that now.
