  1. One who, or that which, unclips.
    • 1959, John Sinclair, Winding and Transport in Mines, page 335:
      An automatic unclipper may be used to lift the clamping lever of Smallman clips. It consists of two steel brackets supporting a small roller under which the rope passes, the detached clip being carried.
