zappee (plural zappees)

  1. (colloquial) One who is zapped.
    • 2005, Robert Wood, Pushing Envelopes, page 51:
The zappee had better not be Barky Spice otherwise HRM will be looking for a new head. Miranda is not the sort of person to carry a zapper but she has an oar that would cause a dog a lot more grief if it caught it full on.
    • 2008, Marian R. Stuart, Joseph Aloysius Lieberman, The Fifteen Minute Hour: Therapeutic Talk in Primary Care, page 161:
When counterattacked by the “zappee,” it is important for the practitioner to guard against feeling counter-zapped but to switch immediately to active listening and verbal aikido and then to repeat the original message.
