- وَ اللّٰهْ قَالْ لِآدَمْ: «إِنْتَ سِمِعْت كَلَامْ مَرْتَكْ وَ أَكَلْت مِنْ عِيَالْ هَنَا الشَّدَرَةْ الْأَنَا دَحَرْتَكْ مِنْهَا. فِي شَانَكْ إِنْتَ، التُّرَابْ يَبْقَى مَلْعُونْ. وَ تَلْقَى مَعَاشَكْ بِتَعَبْ فِي كُلَّ مُدَّةْ حَيَاتَكْ.
- And to Adam God said: because you gave ear to the voice of your wife and took of the fruit of the tree which I said you were not to take, the earth is cursed on your account. And in pain you will get your food from it all your life.
