Ìrè
- Ire Ekiti (a Yoruba town in Ekiti, Nigeria); known for being closely associated to the deity of Ògún. Ògún is believed to have gone to Ire first when descending from the heavens, and fought for the people of Ìrè. It is also where Ògún is believed to have disappeared into the ground, and returned to the other deities. Ògún is commonly referred to as Onírè, "owner of Ìrè."
