Etymology 2 edit

Probably from Illyrian, confronting βαυρία (bauría, house, dwelling) and βύριον (búrion, house). Might be related to Proto-Albanian *bhou̯onā (dwelling, abode), *bhunā (hut), but the lack of an -r- or even an initial -a- makes this unlikely.
