     And here, it looks like in the last few years, olive oil is undergoing a similar process. While in the past we used to spray a little bit of it on a plate of hummus or on vegetable salad, today, after it's made its way by inertia to the culinary summit in Israeli and global cuisine, it can be found in a magnificent array of foods: baked goods, cookies, and even ice creams.
