     אוּלַי כְּבָר אֵינֶנָּה? / וַדַּאי נִטַּל זִיוָהּ.

     'uláy k'vár 'einéna? / vadáy nitál ziváh.

     Perhaps it is no longer there? / Certainly its brilliance has been taken away.

     Vayhí vi-shmoním shaná v-arbá' me'ót shaná latsét b'nei Yisraél me-éretz Mitsráyim ba-shaná ha-r'vi'ít b-ḥódesh Ziv hu ha-ḥódesh ha-shení la-mélekh Shlomó 'al Yisraél va-yíven ha-báyit l-Adonái.

     And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon’s reign over Israel, in the month Ziv, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the LORD.
