- Tanach, Joshua 2:4, with translation of the New International Version:
- וּמַיָא תְּקִיפוּ לַחדָּא לַחדָּא עַל אַרעָא וְאִיתחֲפִיאוּ כָּל טוּרַיָא רָמַיָא דִּתחוֹת כָּל שְׁמַיָא
- And the waters prevailed so mightily on the earth that all the high mountains under the whole heaven were covered
