Found in Exodus 7:28 and Leviticus 2:4 and 11:35. Similar to Middle Persian tnwl (tanūr, oven) and Akkadian 𒅎𒋗𒆸 (tinūrum). This word has been borrowed into Aramaic as תנורא / ܬܰܢܽܘܪܳܐ (tannūrā) and therethrough spawned Arabic تَنُّور (tannūr).
