الروح القدس

Etymology edit

Translation of Ancient Greek ἅγιον (hágion, holy) πνεῦμα (pneûma, spirit). First attested in Arabic in the Quran at 2:253, in the form of روح القدس (rūḥu l-qudusi), that is as a proper genitive construction.
