- hide, pelt, the flayed off skin of an animal used by humans for various purposes
- slough, the skin shed by a snake or other reptile when the old skin is outgrown
- Synonyms: قاو (kav), ییلان قاوی (yılan kavı)
- the last day of a lunar month, in reference to the Hijri, the Islamic lunar calendar
