  ወሤመ ፡ ዲቤሆሙ ፡ ሊቃነ ፡ ገባር ፡ ከመ ፡ ይሣቅይዎሙ ፡ በግብር ፤ ወነደቁ ፡ አህጉረ ፡ ጽኑዓተ ፡ ለፈርዖን ፡ ፈቶ[ም ፡] ወራምሴ ፡ ወኦን ፡ እንተ ፡ ይእቲ ፡ ሀገረ ፡ ፀሐይ ።
  wäśemä dibehomu liḳanä gäbar kämä yəśaḳyəwomu bägbər ; wänädäḳu ʾähgurä ṣənuʿatä läfärʿon fäto[mə ] wäramse wäʾon ʾəntä yəʾti hägärä ṣ́äḥäy .
  Therefore they set taskmasters over them to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh supply cities, Pithom and Raamses.

  wäzkusä nädaʾtomu yagʷegʷʾəwomu wäybəlwomu fäṣmu gəbräkmu zälälä ʿəlätkəmu bäkämä ʾämä nəhubäkmu ḫäśärä .
  And the taskmasters forced them to hurry, saying, “Fulfill your work, your daily quota, as when there was straw.”
