Orthographic borrowing from Chinese 大四喜, derived from 大 (dai-, “big, great”) + 四喜和 (sūshīhō, “win with melds of all four wind tiles”).
Also attested in some dictionaries as a direct borrowing from Mandarin 大四喜 (dàsìxǐ).
