Etymology edit
Altered form of Proto-Germanic *sehtรด (whence Old Norse sรฉtti and Old High German sehto) with the *s inserted by analogy with ๐๐ฐ๐น๐ท๐ (saihs, โsixโ). Identical in formation to Old English sixta and Old High German sehsto, and close to Koine Greek แผฮบฯฮฟฯ (hรฉktos), which it translates.
