This is just the normal everyday school meaning of house (e.g. I went to a school where the "houses" were named after local rivers, and you could earn points for your house by doing good work, winning at sports, etc.). The fact that the houses in HP happen to be Gryffinravenwhatever isn't lexical. Equinox ◑ 23:32, 2 September 2017 (UTC)
