Category:Japanese な-na adjectives

All the entries below are -adjectives. These take -な as a suffix when they are used to modify nouns, and they are inflected quite differently from -adjectives. Their inflection more closely resembles that of a noun, so -adjectives are often referred to as adjectival nouns.

In Japanese, -adjectives are known interchangeably as な-(けい)(よう)() (na-keiyōshi, -adjectives) and (けい)(よう)(どう)() (keiyō dōshi, adjectival verbs).
